Well there.

Hello. Hi hi hi hi.

Oh my God, it's been such a long time since I last posted here. Even I have forgotten on what month I last posted (you can always see that on the previous post [duh]).

Life has been full of school stuff, but I think that's okay, since being at school is preparation for doing administrative stuff in the future (yep, the future's full of those).

I had a short trip to Malang last week, and it was so refreshing. The trees, the air, the view; and especially, my Akung and Uti. I got to see them and indeed, it is a big blessing.

On the way to Malang from Surabaya (the route from Samarinda to Malang is Samarinda-Balikpapan-Surabaya-Malang [whoah... four towns in one day! I just realized] and they all take about two hours of time, so yeah, it's kind of tiring) we were chaffeured by an old man named Pak Harji.

Opening up some small talk, my dad asked where he worked before he got retired. We were all pretty surprised and amused when he said that he used to work in the military. He then told us some stories of his days when he was assigned in Timor-Timur (now Timor Leste). They were quite epic.

Now he helps people out or takes care of his horses. Ya, horses. He says that he farms horses, and he claims that he's doing it naturally. He just leaves the horses in a field and lets nature's laws do its work. Which is, by the way, a very refreshing thing to be heard, since even 'farming' nowadays is very close to synthetic things.

It's been a week and more since I left Malang now, and I don't really have a lot of opinions about school. I'll just do what I can.

I see that some things are still hiding in the corners for me to find, or for me to be surprised about when suddenly they jump out of the corner to me.
